Senior

Well done to the Senior Hurlers who had a 1-26 to 1-20 win over Mullinahone in Puckane last Saturday afternoon in the second round of the County League. In what was an open high scoring game, Kiladangan made a great start - scoring 1-3 in the first three minutes of the game with Bryan McLoughney finishing well for the goal after good set up play from Sean Hayes. Kiladangan enjoyed a 1-9 to 0-4 lead twenty minutes into the game but Mullinahone finished the half well and clawed the deficit back to four points at the interval - 1-12 to 0-11. Mullinahone continued their good form into the second half with Jack Shelly finding the back of the net on the 38th minute. Shelly and Conor Whelan followed up with two points after the goal to put Mullinahone in the lead half way through the second half - 1-15 to 1-14. Kiladangan responded well in the final quarter, outscoring their opponents by 0-12 to 0-5 to secure victory.
