Senior Championship Dates
The Senior hurlers will play Roscrea on the weekend of the 10th/11th September in the North Senior Hurling Championship Semi Final. If Kiladangan were to win this game then the final is fixed for the weekend of the 17th/18th
Junior ‘A’ Championship
The Junior ‘A’ hurlers will play Toomevara on the weekend of the 10th/11th September in the North Semi Final.
Minor Hurling
The Minor hurlers will take on Nenagh Eire Og in the North Quarter Final on Tuesday 6th September at 6.30 pm in Cloughjordan.
Under 16 Hurling
The under 16 hurlers had a 2-19 to 1-9 win over Silvermines in their final game of the group stage. They will take on Roscrea in the Quarter Final which is scheduled for this Friday evening at 6.30 pm in Roscrea.
Intercounty Underage Hurling
Puckane played host to the Arrabawn All Ireland U16 Hurling Tournament last Saturday hosting group games which included Tipperary ‘A’ and also hosted Tipperary’s semi final defeat to Galway. Well done to the organising committee led by Anthony Sherlock, Kevin Connolly and Michelle Flannery. Thanks to those who did scoreboard, linesman and to the ladies who provided refreshments. Thanks also to Seamus Hogan and Paddy Kelly for overseeing the car parking for the day. Darragh Flannery and Bryan McLoughney were members of the Tipperary Under 16 ‘A’ team whilst well done to Johnny McGrath who was corner back on the Tipperary U16 ‘B’ team that won the All Ireland ‘B’ final. Sean Hayes was a member of the Tipperary Under 15 team whilst Billy Seymour was a member of the Tipperary Under 17 team which won the plate competition. Well done to all.
Club Lotto
