Senior Hurling                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Well done to the Senior hurlers who put in an impressive display to defeat Nenagh Eire Og last Saturday evening in Templederry on a 3-17 to 4-10 scoreline in the North Senior Semi Final replay. Darragh Egan, Paul Flynn and Billy Seymour were the Kiladangan goalscorers with full team and scorers available on the club website. It was a very workmanlike performance from the lads who coped well with the wet conditions. Attention now quickly turns to the North Senior Final this coming Sunday (16th Sept) where the lads will take on Kilruane in Nenagh at 2.30 pm. The club would urge all parishioners to get to the match on the day to show your support for the team and management on what is a big game for the club.

Senior Football
An understrength senior football team lost out to Cahir last Sunday evening on a 0-4 to 3-16 scoreline in the final group game of the Senior Football Championship. Full team and scorers are available on the club website. This result now means that the lads will face into a relegation play off in the coming weeks with Galtee Rovers, Drom Inch and Eire Og Annacarty also in the relegation play off.

Intermediate Hurling
The intermediate hurlers have been drawn to take on Knockavilla-Donaskeigh Kickhams and Arravale Rovers in the relegation play off with the bottom team in the group being relegation. The lads will take on Kickhams in their first game of the play off this coming Saturday 15th Sept at 4pm in Holycross. Please come out to support the lads on the day.

Minor Hurling
Well done to the minor hurlers who earned a hard fought 2-15 to 1-16 win over a gallant Roscrea side last Wednesday in Nenagh in the North 'A' Semi Final replay. Kiladangan enjoyed a six point lead at the interval by the way of two Bryan McLoughney goals but to their credit, Roscrea clawed their way back into the game gaining the upper hand around the middle third. The sides were level going into the closing minutes of the game but a Bryan McLoughney free and a fantastic Sean Hayes score from the sideline proved to be the winning of the game for Kiladangan. Hard luck to Roscrea after two titanic tussles. The lads will now take on Toomevara in the final. Please keep an eye on the club’s website and social media pages for the fixture once its confirmed.

Intercounty Hurling
Congrats to Barry Hogan who was recently nominated for a place in goals in the Bord Gáis Energy under-21 hurling team of the year with the final line up being announced on Wednesday, October 17th.
