Senior Hurling
The seniors took on Nenagh Eire Og in the North Senior hurling semi final last Friday in Templederry in a titanic tussle. With the sides level 1-17 each after normal time, the game went to extra time and this still couldn’t separate the sides with the teams finishing 2-22 each to bring the game to a replay. There is no date set yet for the replay. Bryan McLoughney was the scorer of both Kiladangan goals with full teams and scorers available on the clubs website.
Both the seniors and intermediates will return to County Championship action on the weekend of the 11th/12th August with the seniors taking on Portroe and the intermediates taking on Kilsheelan Kilcash. No exact date, time or venue have been fixed yet.

Minor Hurling
The minor hurlers will take on Nenagh Eire Og this Thursday evening (August 2nd) at 7.00 pm in Toomevara in their fourth game of the championship. Please come out to support the lads.

Intercounty Hurling
Hard luck to Sean Hayes who was a member of the Tipperary minor hurling team that lost out to Kilkenny last Sunday in the All Ireland Semi Final in Croke Park. It was a disappointing end to what has been a great year for the Minors winning the Munster title with Sean being one of the team’s stand out performers.

Under 12
Pride of place this week goes to our U12 Roinn B team who, following on a superb display away to Newport last Wednesday, have now won their way through to a North Final where the opposition will be Burgess. This was without doubt a whole team performance who had to give every ounce of energy within them to overcome a strong Newport side and, in doing so, overturn the result from the previous week. The final score was 3-4 to 2-5 and scorers on the night were:
Evan Sherlock 1-2 (1f 1x65), John Meagher 1-1, Cathal Gavin 1-0 and Diarmaid Fogarty 0-1. The date for the final has not yet been set.

Under 14
The U14s are not in action until Wednesday 8th August when they will play Kilruane in Puckane.

Under 16
The U16s recorded a super win over Nenagh last Monday evening in Pocan on a scoreline of 4-10 to 1-11 - the goal scorers were Shane Gleeson (Pen), DJ McGrath, Seanie Connolly and Sean Ryan. Their final round robin fixture vs Ballina was played on Monday evening with no result at time of going to press
