Intercounty Hurling
Alan Flynn and Willie Connors both made substitute appearance’s for the Tipperary Senior Hurlers defeat to Clare last Sunday afternoon in their last group game of the Munster championship. This result now end’s Tipperary’s involvement in the Championship for 2018. Well done to Alan and Willie who both had great campaigns with Tipperary during the year and here’s hoping for many more days out for the lads in the Blue and Gold of Tipperary.
Sean Hayes was on the scoresheet again for the county minors who defeated Clare by 2-14 to 1-12 in their final group game with Sean scoring 1-1 with his goal in injury sealing the win. This now takes Sean’s tally to 6-4 from play in 4 games. With only the top two making it out of the group stages, Tipperary’s minors will have to await on the results of the final round to see if they are to make it to the Munster final.

Clothes Collection
The Juvenile Club will be holding a Clothes Collection over the next 6 weeks or so to raise funds for the players. Items that can be donated include: new or used men's, women's, or children's clothing; household textiles (curtains, towels etc.); shoes; handbags; belts; SOFT toys (no plastics) - all items can be in any condition as long as they are clean. Donations should be placed in a plastic bag, which should then be tied. Bags can be brought to the pitch in Pocan during any juvenile training session or match and left in the designated dressing rjoom - the one with the door on the side of the building beside the referee's room. We would ask that bags be left only at the times of Juv training sessions/matches. We will be collecting clothes up to the middle of July. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
