Hard luck to the Under 17 footballers who lost out to a strong Upperchurch Drombane side last Friday evening in Cappawhite in the County 'B' Football Final. Congratulations to Upperchurch Drombane on a deserved victory.

Our Juvenile AGM took place last Wednesday evening in the complex in Puckane.

There were changes to the top table, with both Kevin Connolly and Darren McGrath stepping aside from their roles.

Kevin has given an outstanding 13 years of service as Secretary, carrying out his duties with exceptional diligence and commitment. His contribution extended far beyond administration, as he was also heavily involved in coaching and day-to-day club activities. We extend our sincere thanks to Kevin for his remarkable dedication and the invaluable service he has provided to the club. It is greatly appreciated by all.

Darren steps down after five years as Chairperson, during which time he put in tremendous work and showed strong leadership throughout his term. We thank Darren for his efforts and the significant contribution he has made to the juvenile club.

Best wishes to Denis Kelly, who now moves from Vice Chairperson to Chairperson for 2026. Christine Garland takes over as Secretary, having previously served as Treasurer. Thomas Clarke joins as Treasurer, while Darragh Egan comes on board as Vice Chairperson.

There was no winner of the Monday 8th December Lotto jackpot of €19,400.
