Camogie
Congratulations is in order to Sinead Meagher who had the honour of captaining the Tipperary Junior Camogie side to All Ireland glory last Sunday in Croke Park after they defeated a gallant Laois side. To have a player captaining an All Ireland winning side is a great honour for the parish – congratulations to Sinead and the Meagher family.
 
Senior
Well done to the Senior hurlers who had a 4-31 to 2-17 victory over Templederry Kenyons in the second round of the County Hurling Championship last Sunday in MacDonagh Park Nenagh. Kiladangan held a 2-21 to 1-7 half time lead with Paul Flynn and Billy Seymour the goal scorers. Paul added his second goal in the second half along with Conor Byrne. Full teams, scorers and score tracker available on KiladanganGAA.com. The lads next game will be against JK Brackens – this game will take place on the weekend of Saturday 24th August.
 
Junior 'A'
The Junior 'A' Hurlers will face Ballinahinch in the North Semi Final this coming Friday 16th August - the game will take place in Toomevara with a 6.45 pm throw in time. Best of luck to the players and management.

Junior ‘B’
Well done to the Junior ‘B’ hurlers who had a hard earned 2-16 to 1-14 win over Templederry Kenyons last Sunday morning in Puckane in the fourth round of the North Championship. With the aid of a strong breeze, Kiladangan held a 1-13 to 0-1 lead with Tom McLoughlin scoring the goal from one of his trademark sidelines. In what was a game of two halfs, Templederry took over the match in the second half and had the deficit back to three points by the 50th minute. A well taken Seanie Hackett goal was the all important score in the game as it extended Kiladangan’s lead and they held out for a five point victory. The lads final group game will take place this coming Saturday 17th August at 7.30 pm away to Toomevara – the lads will need a victory to have any chance of progressing to the knock out stages. Best of luck to all.
 
Under 19
The Under 19 hurlers commenced their North ‘B’ championship campaign last Wednesday in Lorrha where they had a 1-17 to 1-17 victory with Lorrha Rovers. Kiladangan held a 0-8 to 0-3 lead after the first quarter but Lorrha had the better of the second quarter and had Kiladangan’s lead reduced down to one point at half time – 0-10 to 0-9. The sides traded goals (Dara O’Dwyer the Kiladangan goal scorer) within the first two minutes of the second half and the game was tit for tat thereafter, with Lorrha scoring two pointed frees in the last three minutes to secure a draw. The lads next game will take place in  Puckane this Wednesday 14th August at 7.30 pm when they face Newport. Best of luck  to all.

Under 17
Well done to the Under 17 hurlers who had a 5-17 to 2-12 victory over Ballina in the North 'A' Preliminary Quarter Final last Monday 12th August in Dolla. Ruairi Hackett (2), Rian McGrath, Dara O'Dwyer and James O'Dwyer were the Kiladangan goal scorers. The lads will now face Kilruane MacDonaghs in the North Quarter Final next Monday 19th August at 6.45 pm in Nenagh.

Under 15
The Under 15 hurlers will be out in action in the 'A' Quarter Final this Thursday 15th August at 7.00 pm when they face Nenagh Eire Og in Ballinderry.

Under 13
Well done to the Under 13 'D' hurlers who had a 4-3 to 1-4 victory over Borris-Ileigh last Tuesday 6th August in Puckane in the North Preliminary Quarter Final. They will be away to Roscrea this Wednesday 14th August at 6.30 pm in the North Quarter Final.
The Under 13 'B' Hurlers next game will be the North Semi Final which is scheduled for Tuesday 20th August when they will face either Borris-Ileigh or Ballinahinch Templederry.

Summer Camp
Thanks to Aoife Gleeson who was special guest at last weeks Kiladangan GAA & Camogie Summer Camp. Aoife showed off the Munster and All Ireland Minor Camogie Cups to all the kids

Club Lotto
There was no winner of the Monday 5th August Lotto jackpot of €11,050
Jackpot numbers were 1,2,23,33. No winner of the Second Chance €500 draw with the number 1,5,11,34.

Tipperary Draw
The new Tipperary Draw commenced recently with a €500,000 prize fund, 10 monthly draws, 10 weekly draws and a total of 500 prizes for this years draw.
The Tipperary Draw is a critical source of revenue for the club with over 50% of your payment going straight to the club. We thank all who have supported the draw and we look forward to your continued backing.

Sympathy
The club wish to express sympathy to the Hogan and Ryan families on the sad passing of Orla Hogan Ryan. May she rest in peace.
